Cut out the crapware free anti-virus that's ruining your
computer experience

If you are using a free anti-virus software be aware that it is
probably a piece of crap. That's because the authors don't maintain their own
lists of web sites that are unsafe. They rely on others to do so for free.

The man behind the guts that run the Oz Report web site states:

The problem is that there are many (free) lists that Avast checks,
and some of them aren't maintained any more, so removal requests are never seen.
They still leave their bots running though, and blacklist the entire domain that
they find a page on that even has links to other URLs in their lists, like
spammy forum posts, even if the posts only existed for a short while before we
cleaned them out (which we do all the time).

To make it less of a pain than disabling Avast every time, you can just add our
domain (http://ozreport.com)
to its white list:
https://www.google.ca/search?q=avast+whitelist.

Why not use the anti-virus software that comes with your operating system or a
product that isn't free and is actually maintained?
