Into the Bushes

Incident from Sweden last week: the pilot was flying first time
with his new harness. Although he tested it by hanging at his house, when he
launched he was unable to stretch his legs and make the hang strap slide down
towards the prone position. This seems to have led to cross-controlling issues.
The take off itself used to be wider and more forgiving but the bushes on either
side of the grass have been growing over the years and the safety margins
getting tighter and tighter. So time to go out and open up some space.
