A paraglider attempting to land at his home in Bellevue on Sunday
instead crashed into a nearby house.

According to Wood River Fire and Rescue Chief Bart Lassman, crews were dispatched
at 6:51 p.m. to a report of a paraglider who had crashed into a house at 516 N. Seventh St. in Bellevue. When personnel arrived at 6:57 p.m., he said, they
found a 36-year-old male paraglider lying face-down on the house’s back deck
with his chute next to him.
