The Twin Oaks Airport in Whitewater has sold and will be closed on
in the near future. Negotiations are currently in progress to continue to lease
the airport property but no final agreement has been reached yet. We are hopeful
that flight operations will continue in 2018 and beyond. Quite a few people have
been asking about Midwest 2018. Kris, Greg and I have agreed that there will be
no sanctioned competition in 2018. Once the airport lease is secured we will
begin working on holding a Midwest 2019.
