Kitty Hawk Kites is sponsoring an annual tri-state cross country
and airtime contest for hang gliders and paragliders. The contest will take
place across the states of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Hang
gliders and paragliders will compete separately for the cross country portion of
the competition, but the Airtime Contest is all-inclusive.

Hang gliders and paragliders alike will compete for the most accumulated airtime
over the calendar year, and winners will be announced at the Hang Gliding
Spectacular every May. All cross country flights and airtime from January 1
