On Wednesday I took a 43 mile ride on the West Orange Trail.
Coming back south I almost ran into one of these guys missing his head by a few
inches. It was stretched out almost all the way across the paved trail.

It was about three or four foot long with a black rattle and it moved oh so slowly and
didn't seem to be at all disturbed by me when I rode back to check him out. No
coiling at all. Just slowly slithering off the pavement into the forest.
