Thanks to your support, the Foundation is geared up for one of the
most ambitious grant award programs to date! If you are a USHPA member, you can

When you renew online or through the mail, and donate to one or more of our
funds, we receive a matching USHPA donation of up to $500. Matched renewal
donations total $20,000 at the end of May. We're 1/3 of the way to our annual
goal of $60,000.

If you haven't renewed your membership, or you know someone who still needs to
renew, remind them of the match! We are so thankful that pilots and friends of
the Foundation like you take this opportunity to double the impact of your
donations.

In 2017, USHPA member renewal donations to the Foundation exceeded $30,000,
making it possible for us to receive the entire annual match. That's how you
doubled the impact of your donations and WE doubled our altitude to $60,000.
Last year alone, the Foundation granted more than $83,000 to benefit pilots,
USHPA-certified instructors, Chapters and flying sites.

We have implemented a fiscal sponsorship program whereby the Foundation can
accept tax deductible donations and work in close partnership with the pilot
community to achieve common goals.

The Foundation is busy with small project funding, legal assistance and
conservation easements.

We're working with USHPA chapters across the country to secure new and existing
flying sites with recreational use, conservation easements and landowner
agreements.

Safety and education funding helps to support USHPA-certified instructors who
provide completely voluntary instruction, something we think will make a
difference for the future of our sports.
