Tom's tracklogs
Ivan Lukano, the scorekeeper for the 2018 Europeans has been very
kind and very quickly sent me both of Tom's Friday tracklogs within a few
minutes of my request even while he was working on the Sunday scoring.
Here is a look at the point of contention, the last turnpoint before the goal.
The two tracklogs are Tom's tracklog from his Flymaster tracker and his Oudie 4.
They are exactly on top of each other until he approaches this last turnpoint.
The blue tracklog is the Oudie 4's:
The Oudie 4 appears to drift off to the east as he approaches this turnpoint.
Then he turns as Oudie 4 tells him that he has made the intersection in town
while the Flymaster tracker, the red line, shows him not making it.
After turning and heading toward goal, the Oudie 4 track log jumps back to match
up with the Flymaster tracker.
I have included both tracklogs for your own animation:

My thought from a distant point of view is that the Flymaster tracker probably
had it right. But Tom could not reference it and could only reference his Oudie
4.
