Im excited to say I think the final proposal is a lot better than
both the version the board considered in the spring and the next one that the
members commented on over the summer. The biggest change is the addition of an
election process that supports diversity on the new board, starting with
regional diversity. In fact, as long as every region fields a candidate, every
region will have at least one seat on the board. (Please see another post coming
soon on why the new region map wont mean more work for each director.)
