“Nothing like a cold beer after an exciting flight, and you know,
honestly, people at the airport do the same thing,” said Ted Gablin, president
of the Redlands Airport Association.

The flight-themed Hangar 24 Craft Brewing is across the street from the airport
on Sessums Drive.

According to Gablin, when paragliders come in to land, the patio at the brewery
erupts in wild clapping.

The airport association and Crestline Soaring Society, a hang gliding and
paragliding club in the San Bernardino Mountains, have discussed the matter.
While productive, those talks have not led to a solution.
