Want to make the 2011 US National team?

Points for World Team selection are calculated from the pilot's best four Class B and C events over a two year period with at least one event being a Class C event.
I believe that all of the current US National team has stated that they won't be flying at the 2009 US National at King Mountain or don't wish to fly there. Perhaps they will change their minds now that the above provision could in fact be in place for the 2009 season. The only "Class C" event in 2009 will be the US Nationals at King Mountain and to have the best chance of making the team they had better go to that meet.
Now you've got to wonder just how the USHPA is going to pull off this bit of underhandedness when the King Mountain Nationals doesn't even qualify as a Class C meet according to the requirements of the Working Draft. It doesn't use GAP scoring and it isn't a Race to Goal format. Talk about blatant disregard for their own new proposed rules.
And on top of that corruption and conflict of interest as Lisa Tate, President of the USHPA and member of the Working Group is the meet organizer for the King Mountain Nationals. Can it get any worse than this?
