The USHPA is soliciting comments regarding the Competition Workgroup's Working Draft. You can submit them (as well as download the Working Draft - the same one that was submitted to the USHPA BOD in October) from this site.

I will provide possible "talking points" for your perusal here in the Oz Report on an ongoing basis to "help" you with any comments that you might want to make. The comment area is divided into multiple topics. Here are a few "talking points:"

1. Can the USHPA Competition Workgroup show the exact differences between the current Competition Rulebook and the new Rulebook section of the proposed Manual and Rulebook so that we can see the changes? Make this comment under the Competition Rulebook Section.

2. Can the USHPA BOD and EC wait until the 2009 Fall BOD meeting to implement any proposed changes in the Competition Rulebook as per the existing USHPA rules? How can the USHPA ignore their existing rules? Make this comment under the Competition Rulebook Section.

3. Where is the help for creating and training new meet organizers which was pointed out in the presentation to the USHPA BOD? Make this comment under the Meet Director Apprenticeship  Section.

4. What is the minimum that could be done to the existing NTSS system that will support the goals for greater participation in competitions? Make this comment under the Competition Rulebook Section.
