One interesting thing with that video besides the scenery is that I once rose fairly high, but then was only soaring at lower altitude for quite some time, until at about 2 hrs into the flight I committed to following in the (for a paraglider) strong wind with some good lift that I had encountered. This may be an almost laughable flight to alpine and great distance pilots, but on the other hand it may be encouraging to others who also have to make do with small sites.
