The Region:

The Austrian Alps provides epic mountain flying conditions. The Flug-rally takes advantage of the very best flying conditions for the region, which is August. Every mountain launch offers the chance to fly over 300km. The current world record for longest triangle flight of 407km is from the Greifenburg launch, held by Walter Geppert. The Flug-Rally tour will kick off here, and will be the first of five monumental flying days.
