Competitions are a great time to get together with other pilots and all fly together with a goal in mind (getting to goal as quickly as possible). They are an incredible learning experience and should be required of every hang glider pilot as they progress.

The East Coast Championship is just a wonderful high level competition (with Sport Class also) that takes place is a very benign areas with good flying conditions and huge flat smooth landing fields in all directions.

We go there when the weather is best and have had a good time every year. I would not miss it.
