Florida, not so much paradise
After almost ten days of light winds and great soaring conditions we've had almost two weeks of winds and good soaring conditions. The winds have made it difficult to want to launch as the first few hundred feet are pretty rough (sometimes). We had a great time going north on Wednesday when the winds calmed down, but they were strong again on Thursday.
They did calm down later in the afternoon and the British pilots got the opportunity to go south to the Seminole glider port and back to Quest around 4 PM. The forecast for Friday is windy and lack of lift late in the day.
