The USHPA Board of Directors voted in general session Saturday afternoon to overturn the executive committee's decision to change the competition ranking system. It has now returned to the previous system, that found in the USHPA Competition Rulebook. I'll report when I know what is next up.

The Regional Directors received a petition from 235 pilots asking that they do this. That got their attention and they voted with the pilots.

Mike Haley, the head of the Competition Committee and the Competition Work group, whose proposal was accepted by the EC in their earlier meeting, made the motion to rescind that decision and to not make it or any other changes in the NTSS system for now. Therefore it was not necessary for the opponents of the Work group's proposal to argue against it as it proponents were waving the white flag.
