But now the web site and the five times a week mailings are too complex, not including the many other facets of the Oz Report. I used to be able to pay less than $10/month for the web site. Now it's $150/month. I buy it a year at a time to keep the costs lower.
The Oz Report is not a money making operation. Like many news outlets it runs at a loss (by unlike those going out of business it was not purchased on leveraged debt). 2008 was a very expensive year (4.5 months in Oz and a month in France) reporting on "foreign" competitions. Obviously I would like to report on many more foreign competitions, but the costs would just be too great.
Please, help us out. Support something that you find useful so that it can continue to be there for you.
