I recently launched a website called Flygirls International http://www.flygirlsinternational.com. We are a social network committed to maintaining relationship and building awareness of women involved in extreme sports. We do this by providing the latest news, activities, and events geared toward women's extreme sports to our members. We currently have a strong membership of women hang gliders on the site, and its growing every day. We also support women competition pilots in a variety of ways. For example, this year we are sponsoring the US National Paragliding Competitions in California at the end of this month. Flygirls International will be providing the trophy and prizes for the women's podium this year.

On the front page of our site there is a feature section where we highlight a women excelling in her respective 'Flygirl' sport. Hang gliding is one of our feature extreme sports we often report on. In our next feature story we would like to highlight Julia Kucherenko from Russia and her advances in this year's competitions.
