After last year's success, with over 50 pilots and great echo on national media, the Bergamo Hang Gliding Trophy (Trofeo Internazionale dell'Isola) is back.

The Trophy is open to Class 1 and 5 hang gliders. The event will take place on 16th and 17th May 2009 in Palazzago, near Bergamo. According to weather conditions, launch points will be Monte Linzone (1400 mt) or Monte Farno (1250 m) in Val Gandino. The landing place will be the usual landing field in Palazzago, near Bergamo.

Pilots who've never had the chance to fly over the Orobic Prealps could try this nice fly area. Landscape extends from plain to mountains, from alpine valleys to milder hills. You can easily fly over Lecco Lake to the West and try to reach Brescia towards the east.

It will be a weekend of feast and friendship, the occasion for pilots and companions to share pleasant days. We are looking forward to meeting you again in large number in Bergamo!!
