Please join us at Woodrat Mountain for the 33rd Annual Starthistle Fly in this Memorial Day weekend.

In a nod to current economic times, our theme is “The Grapes of Wrath”. Dress up like the Joad family from the Great Depression, or you won’t get any wine.

We’ll be focusing our events on the wineries of the Applegate valley. Every pilot landing at Longsword gets a free glass of wine. Spot landing and Bomb drop will be held at Longsword winery. Winners in each category get three bottles of win. Free pilot’s breakfast at Fiasco winery on Sunday morning. More wine to crooss country pilots who make it to Troon, Devitt or Valley View. Further awards to the longest cross country, greatest duration, and best outfit.
