Glen Volk, who has been very generous to the US National Team, gave an additional $500 of his prize money to the US Team after the prize giving Saturday night. Glen Volk is the US competition pilot who was sixth in line to go to the Worlds, and didn't get to go because the site, Larange, can't accommodate six person teams (with so many teams). So it is even more generous of him to support the team given that he just missed being on it.
Glen is very impressed about how well the US team (well, I would add at least five of the six team members) are faring in competition this month and flying extremely well. He wants to support the team and encourage them to do well at the Worlds.
Ollie Gregory won the rigid class and he also has been a generous supporter of the US National team. He gave $200 of his $300 prize to the US National team last night. Thanks Ollie.

The Flytec Race and Rally just broke even, so it was great for Steve Kroop at Flytec to come through with prize money for the winners, as the organization didn't have the funds for them. Glen Volk won $1,500, Zac Majors $800, Jeff O'Brien $400. Ollie Gregory got $300 for first in rigids.
Carl Wallbank said that his three weeks in Florida were the best hang gliding that he had ever had. He also loved being here earlier for the Flyercup.
Our experience with using SeeYou to download Compeo, Compeo Plus, Flytec 5030, and 6030's was mixed, not reliable enough to use consistently. Better to use FlyChart. There are just communication difficulties and these result in weird points in the track log that cause problems. Otherwise, SeeYou with my scoring program worked great.
