Big Points meets in the US

And the Flytec Race and Rally was worth 560 points (616 for Glen Volk). Six hundred NTSS points is the maximum available (except to the winner). These meets were both high points meets despite the fact that there were only twenty nine open class flex wing pilots in the Flytec Race and Rally and twenty seven in the Rob Kells Memorial meet.
This compares with only 300 points for the 2008 Nationals in Lakeview and 472 points for the 2008 Big Spring Internationals.
These meets were very valuable for those pilots looking for NTSS ranking points because the top US pilots (plus two top foreign pilots) came and flew in them, including the whole US National team (all of them traveling from the west).
The US meets were more valuable than any of the Australian meets that count in 2009.
