The BaWü Airgames are starting on Friday in Oppenau (Black Forest). We're integrating hang gliding more and more into the event. This year we invited John Heiney to come there. He's on the way from LA and will be showing off from Saturday till Monday. John will not only be towed and do mountain launches, but also balloon drops.

Of course, there's lots of other stuff around. Tomas Pellicci will give demonstrations of his flap, showing how slow you can come in for landing. And every hang gliding pilot to go cross country to Oppenau will be invited for beer and food.

There'll be lots of music. My band is playing on Saturday, it's called Rob Rampensau and the Flying Circles. The opening show will be live on the web at 8 PM (middle European time).
