All members of the US team except me went flying from Plaine Joux, see here, for a very nice two hour flight with soft lift and the ability to get up on the rocks next to the clouds. I felt that I needed to work on short packing my gliders as I'm leaving a day earlier than the rest of them.

We are all staying at the Le Vert Hotel, which has a picture of itself with stage coaches in front of it, so you know that it was one of the first hotels (if not the first) in Chamonix. Very comfortable and just the right style for the US team. €25/person/night.

We head for Dusseldorf tomorrow (a ten hour ride in the van).
