What: 2009 Women's Hang Gliding Festival

Where: Lookout Mountain Flight Park is located in northwest Georgia just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Why: We had so much fun last year, we're doing it again! Whether you are an experienced pilot who wants to fly with a bunch of female pilots, a pilot who's interested in getting back into the sport, or you are a friend or family member who's interested in learning about hang gliding...this festival is for you.

Additional Information:

Planned activities include fun flying tasks, mountain flying, aerotowing, seminars with world class pilots, reduced priced training, reduced priced tandem flights, live music, open mike night, silent auction, food, drink, and festivities.

September is a beautiful time to fly. We generally have a mixture of light wind conditions and soaring conditions making this an ideal time for pilots of all skill levels. Also, the Festival leads right into Team Challenge ( www.treetoppers.org ). Take advantage of two amazing events!
