First of all, the USHPA can't sanction these meets until the fall BOD meet, November 13th and 14th, but all the meet organizers will be getting in their sanction applications at the fall BOD meeting.

Second, only a few of the dates are firmly fixed, so some could change over the next few weeks.

Third, the USHPA may upset the applecart by instituting a whole new competition program.

Given these caveats, you'll find the latest tentative dates for the meets here.

The 2nd Annual Rob Kells Memorial at the Florida Ridge, La Belle, Florida, April 18th - 24th, <Fly>,

The 2010 Flytec Race and Rally, La Belle, Florida, April 25th - May 1st, <flytecraceandrally>,

The 2010 East Coast Championship, Ridgely, Maryland, June 6th - 12th,

The 2010 US Nationals at Big Spring, Big Spring, Texas, August 15th - 21st, <david>,

The 2010 Santa Cruz Flats Race, Casa Grande, Arizona, September 12th - 18th, <flytecraceandrally>.

This is going to be an exciting competition year with five major USHPA sanctioned competitions all organized far in advance (so you don't have to wait for the last minute to know if they are actually on). There is going to be a lot of promotion for these meets, so we can expect large turnouts, so you'll want to register as soon as registration is open for the individual meets.

We expect not just race to goal competitions, but Sport Class, and additional activities at the number of these meets. I'll keep you informed of the details as I work them out with the meet organizers.
