The man was tied to his car with a climbing rope. It sounds as
though he was up in the air when the wind gusts were so strong, it ripped the
canopy right off the harness. Since climbing rope has some spring in it when
stretched, the witness says the man flung back (30 metres high) towards his car
when the canopy detached and hit the ground. They tried to perform CPR on him
but was dead within minutes.
