As mentioned in Canoa, we will be holding a comp (open) in
January here in Colombia. The dates are Jan 9th - 17th. It will be held in
Roldanillo, which is the prime flying site in Colombia and where all the
Nationals have been held for the last 20 + years.

January is known for the great weather and good flying conditions and we
normally fly triangles, out and return and other options of approx 70 to 120 kms
in length. The flying here is very safe, with great launches, lots and lots of
huge landing areas and smooth wind to launch and land in.

Roldanillo is a small town, with good inexpensive hotels (ie. Approx US$10.00 a
night) and good food also very reasonable.

We will be doing our best to cater to all the international pilots that decide
to come, and they can count on the same hospitality and assistance that was
received by all at Canoa just last week. There are daily flights from Miami via
Avianca Airlines to the city of Cali which is only 1.5 hours from Roldanillo.
