Your expressions of concern were very important to fixing the
situation here

It is very clear that the atmosphere here was set by the response
that Regional Directors received from their constituents regarding the
competition issues. The USHPA BOD officers behind this effort to rewrite the
competition rulebook had to back off from pushing it through, when they
continued to see massive resistance to it. Without the buy-in of the major
stakeholders there was just no way that this was going to be able to be passed
by the BOD.
