The comp at Forbes is just over a month away now! We have over 80 entries which
is exciting. That’s the biggest number since the revival year of 2007.

We are offering 10 days of flying this year and $10,000 in cash and
prizes. I think this has been an incentive for pilots. More than half of the
pilots entered are International!

We may try to have an open distance task with a set direction if weather
permits.

We have just been granted the 14,000 ft altitude limit by CASA.

The Vandenberg Hotel HQ will be offering a buffet breakfast for A$14. It’s all
coming together nicely!

We have only received confirmed registration from 15 of the 80 pilots. Get your
registration paid so we can be sure to have enough tugs available to tow
everyone!
