I am also checking into a way to get English workbooks down here.  A few
weeks ago I had to pick up a parcel for me and I had to wait five hours to pay
twelve cents duty. This was for a box that weighed less than two kilos. The duty
apparently is according to weight. I know a customs broker in Quito who is
looking into what is required for us to get duty free status, if it's possible.
Or to have the surfer volunteers bring them down, a few each when they come in
March.
