As luck would have it I was available on Tuesday to ride the first
wave of XC weather 38 miles East from Kagel Mountain in Sylmar, CA and landed on
the 17th fairway of the Marshall Canyon Golf Course in La Verne, CA. I flew with
a GoPro HD camera attached off of my right wing which nicely captured the entire
2hrs 11min flight. Narration was added and an animated 3D flight track in SeeYou
was added at the end of the video. I have it hosted in fast loading streaming

On Wednesday, the forecast looked slightly better so I called in sick and had a
nearly identical flight, this time landing on the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course
and recording the flight with dual GoPro HD cameras on the keel.

Vimeo members are free to download the full 1470 x960 WMV file, too. On this
video I changed narration styles and added a background soundtrack rather than
using the ambient wind noise as in the first installment.
