you'll find numerous threads that contain a long list of complaints about the
USHPA and their various actions. The complaints may or may not be completely
legitimate (they are often mistaken and often rebutted) but what they are for
sure is completely contained. They don't leak out of the container that is the
threads and the forum. The forum seems to be made of lead. Nothing gets outside
it.

Only Mark Forbes has ventured in to see what's up with these guys. (Maybe others
on the USHPA BOD have been there, but only lurking.)

Now as we know you can't affect USHPA BOD policy by just venting on a forum. The
USHPA BOD members aren't listening. They don't have any way to act on your
proposals or complaints. It is unfortunate, very unfortunate, but until USHPA
communications change, the only way to affect USHPA policy is to either get your
regional director to bring up your issue in the appropriate committee (not very
likely) or to go to the BOD meeting yourself and get to the right committee
meeting.

Your representatives are just not going to represent you, and even if they do,
they are one or two against the rest of the BOD members, and the majority has
never heard of your issue and don't care much about it.

You can petition the BOD (the USHPA officers will declare your petition
illegitimate). You can get your local club to instruct your regional director
(but you won't know what the agenda is). You can send emails to all the
directors in advance and maybe a few of them will have the time to read your
email.
