Cross Country League. The first event for the season will be help at Potato Hill
on 20th and 21st of March. The league is open to all pilots- hang glider and paraglider pilots are all
welcome to attend. It is designed to train pilots in cross country flying by
flying fixed routes with more abled pilots (aka Joshneric). There is a mentoring
program to assist the more junior pilots. Pilots attending the league should be happy thermaling with other pilots and
able to land safely not necessarily in the designated landing zone. If you wish to attend please meet at 9.30 am in the LZ by Fouts Springs on
Saturday morning. All pilots must fly with a serviceable radio, reserve and GPS
to be scored. There is a website devoted to the league:

for the league. If you wish to compete please fill out the reg form. Bring a
completely waiver (which can also be found on the website) to the pilot meeting
in the LZ on Saturday morning. You should also upload waypoints into your GPS
unit before you come. Software and the waypoints file can be found at the league
website at the downloads page. The costs for each task is $10 per day for
preregistered pilots. For those pilots not preregistered the cost per task is
$15. For those who want to compete for the whole season (17 tasks), they can
purchase a season pass for $125. NEW FOR 2010: For the 2010 season I will using a mentoring program where more
junior pilots will be teamed up more experienced pilots to assist in setting up
instruments, develop strategies for the task and fly further than they would on

the league actually functions and how pilots can prepare themselves for the
league and the weekend. If you wish to car pool, figure out places to eat or camp, please register with

running from March through to October held at flying sites within driving
distance of the Bay Area. The league is set to help pilots of all abilities in
improving their flying skills by flying set courses with other pilots. These are
