It has been a while since we have provided you with an update on
the organization's progress so we thought that we would drop you all a quick
note. All organizational paper work has been completed with the exception of
some more specific things to be included in the By-Laws. A board of directors meeting is to be held at Quest on Monday (3/29/10) evening
to discuss a number of things. Projects where we are or will be helping children in the near future include the
following: Ecuador school - Classroom is almost completed, teacher has been
secured for two years. Ecuador Mission - We are still providing the mission with
money to purchase medical supplies. Big Spring, TX. (two possible venus during
the Nationals) Mexico Paragliding and Hang Gliding event possibilities and a few
others. Our plan is to have specific venus and financial goals as well as a list of
items that the children are in need of. More information will be available on
the organizations website as it becomes available.
http://thecbf.org. Be a part of the Cloudbase Foundation Team and help us help children where we
fly. Your assistance is needed and greatly appreciated in spreading the word of our
efforts to places and people outside of our sport. Financial assistance is
always appreciated and is required in order for us to meet our goals of helping
children where ever we fly. If you have any ideas of where we can help children
where we fly, please share your thoughts with any of the Cloudbase Foundation
board of directors.
One reason for the Cloudbase foundation is to create good will
wherever we fly by supporting the children in those locales who need help. The
school in Canoa is a perfect example.
