Thank goodness this World Championship was held in a romantic and charming
location otherwise there would be nothing to look back on with fondness. There
has to be something that can be learned. If you are not learning, you are dead.

We face a competition in central Texas starting on Monday with two practice days
Saturday and Sunday. The forecasted winds look pretty strong for a single surface aerotowing
competition. But we'll see.

And how does climate change enter into this picture? We also know that the El
Nino is weakening. A few years ago we didn't hold a World Record Encampment
because of the bad weather forecasts (and reality).
