Dana Nelson (22), daughter of Linda Salamone has been on the scene
for some time, but she hasn't been into flying, until now. I had the opportunity
to observe her full of stoke go through tandem aerotow training and take her
first few solos. It was cool to see her overloaded with emotion after her
training flights and first solos and remember back to when everything was so
intensely special about every flight. It's good to remember how special and
rewarding and lucky we are to hang glide.
