I made a set of cross bar fairings for my Fun 190 which "clamshelled"
onto the crossbar and it seemed to reduce my stall speed and give me a fraction
more glide but was never sure that I really had the angle of attack optimised.

The ones that we have on our Northwing Freedom's look like this:

Made of Dacron, Mylar, and Velcro.
