With the radar pictures of the approaching front in their minds and the
plentiful winds blowing in the neighborhood, pilots just never set their gliders
up (other than Mitch and I who set them up yesterday). As three o'clock
approaches it is getting darker, the wind continues and I can hear thunder to
the west.

It was reasonably pleasant on the practice day, but no one was here to practice
with, so I didn't. The forecast looks good as the temperature is supposed to
drop a little more than ten degrees after the front comes through. It's in the
nineties and people are suffering in the high humidity.
