I have not been in any other location (or state) in the world where the
development of cumulus clouds has been so consistent. Of course, having winds
come off the Gulf of Mexico into the southeast portion of the state makes this
area that one most likely to have earlier development of cu's.

Zapata is less consistent then Luling, Hearne or Austin. The cu's are very
consistent at Big Spring, but they come later in the day around noon.

Nothing comes close to Texas when it comes to the development of these friendly
messengers in the sky.
