Dangling?

It's nothing more than a four foot long balanced rod with a slight bend at the
balance point. A GoPro HD mounted at the front and a couple of small fins are on
the aft end. The camera is aimed parallel to the 18' long suspension line. So it
will always point more or less into the wind and in general it will aim at the
attachment point.
I jury rigged this setup just to test the concept which worked better than
expected in spite of not being aimed quite right. I call it a 'camera troll'
because that is essentially what it is. I have been mentally playing with the
concept for over a year and Zippy's recent test using a trapeze type arrangement
ala Aaron Stepson's revival of Eric Raymond's June 1983 Hang Gliding Magazine
cover photo got a fire lit under my anatomy.
