Happy Independence to everyone! Let's celebrate with Wills Wing
Demo Days and some flying and a super fun weekend. The fun starts Thursday the
1st and goes through Monday the 5th.

Steve Pearson and Mike Meier will be here along with the Lookout Mountain Flight
Park staff to help
people with glider information and to test fly the most modern Wills Wing
gliders. The T2C, U2, Sport 2 and Falcon 3. Find out which one is best for you
and give it a test flight.

Steve and Matt Taber will also be conducting a pilot meeting on Friday at 8:00
pm with pizza at the clubhouse. It will be a question and answer session on any
hang glider topics and questions you want. Dan Zink will be conducting a clinic
Sunday at 1:00 on landing technique and restricted landing field landings.

This is also a wonderful chance to try some new gliders. If you have an older
glider, you may be shocked at the wonderful sink rate and handling
characteristics of the modern gliders. The modern gliders are a lot lighter too.

This is also a great opportunity to rub elbows with two of the biggest pioneers in
the greatest sport. We are lucky these gentlemen make themselves available this
way. Imagine inviting the NHL champion Chicago Black hawks to play hockey with
you. They wouldn't do it. Hang gliding is more open and friendly and this is a
great chance to take advantage of that.

In addition to Steve and Mike visiting with all the latest gliders and sizes, we
will have a big party Saturday Night with kegs o beer, rock n roll band, catered
grub of BBQ chicken, veggies, peach and blackberry pies. The swimming pool and
volleyball court are open and ready. Our training hills will be open and
available for improving your skills or simply brushing up.

Our instructors will be available to help with coaching and upgrading your
skills and techniques from the basics to more intermediate and advanced
training. You may also want to work on an aerotow rating while you are here.
Please call and discuss your needs and get scheduled for the training before you
arrive. We want to have you scheduled to avoid missing your chance.
