"She was in shock," said hang glider pilot Aaron Swepston, after
pointing to deep divots in the turf where the woman landed. "She hit the ground
pretty hard."

She had a cut on her arm, and was bruised and groggy after the crash, Swepston
said. She was conscious and talking at the hospital Monday night. Chelan Falls
Park is regularly used as a landing spot by hang gliders and paragliders.
