On my way back from Bulgaria I stopped and flew the two best
flying sites in Macedonia. This is a neighboring country to Bulgaria with very
close languages.
The first flying site we flew was Krushevo - and we were a bunch of nine hang glider pilots. Some arrived from Skopije, the capital, some from Ohrid.
Very relaxed thermal flying that day finishing in a green spacious landing at first and with beer at the village center later.
The next day I moved to Galicice - a National park close to the picturesque city of Ohrid and above the lake Ohrid. Launch is westerly, rather high with thermals working until late in the evening.
