Lookout Mountain Flight Park (LMFP) is hosting September Fest,
September 17 to September 19. We're looking for pilots from around the country
to join us for a weekend of flying, friendly competition, and fun.

September is a beautiful time to fly at LMFP. It's still warm but not too hot,
and we generally get a mixture of light-wind days and ridge-soarable days.

We welcome and encourage all pilots to join us for flying, fun and camaraderie.
We also encourage those interested in learning more about hang gliding and those
who want to learn to fly to reserve their space in one of our training programs.

There will be fun flying competitions with tasks for all skill levels, clinics,
and evening entertainment. Open Mike Night will take place Friday, September 18.
This is our third annual Open Mike Night and it is an awesome time. If you are

The weekend of September 17-19 was chosen not only because of the weather, but
also because it corresponds with the beginning of Team Challenge, which kicks
off on September 19th, 2010. If you are flying in Team Challenge, we hope you
will come to Lookout a few days early and join us for the festivities. If you
have never experienced the Team Challenge, plan to stay in the area a couple of
extra days after the festival, and fly Sequatchie Valley. This is a great
