It's cold here in
Boise, and probably colder still in
Sun Valley(the forecast high for today was 60 degrees and it got to
63) and Mount Baldy, a bit east of here. The prospect of ice and snow (there was snow on launch on Mount Baldy)
brought the day to a close. It is way below the average temperature for here and
now (83), as the temperature barely got to 70 degrees. It has been cold on
Labor day the past two years here in Boise.
