If you have a Flytec 6030 or a Brauniger Compeo+ with the latest
software version, you can download your flight to a 2 GB SD card and then email
that flight (as an attachment) to the competition scorekeeper. See
here. Otherwise, you can find
the instructions for downloading your flight (from your flight computer or GPS)
to the computer provided by the competition organizer (actually from Flytec)
here. Pilots will be responsible for creating their IGC files at the Santa Cruz Flats
Race and all US hang gliding competitions in the US in 2011 and beyond. Steve
Kroop has provided a computer for competitors to use to download their flights
and email them to the scorekeeper. It can read SD cards. I have loaded all the software needed to download flights and send them to the
scorekeeper (me) on the Flytec computer. It will next be at the Santa Cruz Flats
Race.
