Helping the kids in Canoa

I understand that some US and Ecuadorian hang glider pilots will
be here in Canoa at the end of October. I look forward to seeing you again, and
having you see the progress we have made at the
school. I
got back a month ago from a wonderful three month vacation in Canada. I noticed
when I got back that we are completely out of construction paper and so I
am writing to ask if you could bring some. We can get it here, but it is much
more expensive here than in the US. I have become brazen in asking for things
for the school. I hope you don't mind.
We had a teachers' meeting earlier this week and there was a request for wall
or desk mounted pencil sharpeners. We have two now, one in Victor's (the
principal) office and one in one of the classrooms, but ideally each of the five
classrooms would have one. Even if you could just bring one for the Hombres
Pajaro classroom that would be a big help. The two teachers in that building
could share it.
There was also a request for educational children's software for the
computer, for English learning and also for learning how to use the computer,
how to type. And for children's board games, like Monopoly Junior or
Snakes and Ladders.
If you can help us with any of this, you know how grateful we will all be. See
you at the end of the month.
