It's wet in Oz

Thought I should point out to you that down under we are having
loads of rain across most of the country. SE Queensland is flooding, again. Dams
are full. Looks like they only go about three days flying at Canungra and the
tasks were all really short. My driver in Manilla say that there is not a piece of bare earth anywhere. Bruce Wynne and Dick Heffer went out to Lake Ayre, usually a dry lake bed, with
tow gear, but there was just rain and mud. They are predicting a wetter that
average summer. This morning on the news they were talking about a combination of La Nina and
some new Indian Ocean equivalent, I have never heard of before, causing so much
rain across the country. Hasn't happened in thirty five years. Sorry, but I wouldn't be getting your hopes up about any records unless it
changes and starts to dry out soon. You know its bad when the farmers are all
happy!
